Driving from Guanacaste - Puntarenas  - Orotina over Highway 27
to Margarita's Airport Bed and Breakfast in La Garita de Alajuela

1. Coming from the north via Puntarenas - Orotina over the toll road 
   (Costa Rica Highway 27) you take the exit AFTER the Atenas exit.
   This exit is for Turrucares / La Garita
   
   At the bottom of the exit ramp you find a roundabout which you
   take 3/4 to the left.  Now you drive underneath Highway 27
   and you will reach a second roundabout.
   Take this roundabout 5/8 to the left and follow the sign 'La Garita'

   After a few hundred meters you take a right turn and follow Road 136 
   for 4.2 km till you reach Highway 3.  At the right-hand corner you
   find a soccer field.  Turn right after the soccer field and follow
   Highway 3 for 3.5 km

   Now you pass the bridge across the Panamerican Highway.

   From here it's only 5 minutes to our B&B
   Continue to follow this Highway 3 direction Alajuela

2. After a few minutes you will see at the left our local zoo, 
   Zooave.com, 300 feet more and you will see at the right our local 
   casino, Hotel-Spa Casino Martino.
   1 Minute after Hotel Martino you see at the right a big blue sign
   with white letters INCAE. Turn RIGHT at this sign.

3. After 300 meters you see at the left the green columns of the
   parking lot of the Santa Fe High School.

   300 Meters further and you will see
   - at the left a private road with the sign 'Margarita'  Turn LEFT here
   - at the right the orange gate of 'Apartamentos Palma Real'
   Point 7 on map below  

4. Opposite this orange gate you enter the private road to our B&B
   After 150 meters you will see our black gate with red-white
   fluorescent stripes.
   Behind our gate you see the sign 'Margarita de La Garita'
   Point 8 on map below. Our entrance gate, you have arrived 
     Use your lights or use the intercom in the wall at the 
   left side of the gate.
   
   If you miss the orange gate or 'Margarita' sign, you can make a U-turn in
   front of the INCAE Business School, 100 meters further left.
   This road is a dead-end road anyhow.  It ends at INCAE

5. Immediately after passing our gate you see the tennis court
   at the left.  
   Park your car next to the main building at the left.
